Mark Luck SNR had a keen interest in motor vehicles and he bought a 4-wheeled Dennis Tipper lorry in 1929 which led to the creation of the Mark Luck Company. This company then became Limited in 1977 with Mark Luck SNR and his wife Gladis Luck as the directors. In 1977 Mark had bought 3 more lorries and a yard in Mottingham. This was then followed in 1982 with another yard in Crayford and a company expansion which included 5 more lorries. At the grand age of 86, Mark Luck SNR sadly passed away making his son Ken Luck the Managing Director of Mark Luck Ltd. Ken employed his friend Chris Archbutt and made him Director and Shareholder. In 1999 Ken’s son Mark Luck Jnr started working for the family run business, working his way up through the company.
Since then, the company has gone from strength-to-strength. In 2001, Mark Luck Limited moved from their Crayford yard to where they are currently working from in Wested Lane, Swanley, with tippers, grabs & artic lorries. In 2017 Chris Archbutt retired from his role at Mark Luck Limited but remains a shareholder. Mark Luck Ltd invested in new offices within their yard at Swanley. Our promise is to always provide the best services throughout the Southeast. Ken Luck sadly passed away in 2018 making Mark Luck Jnr the Managing Director of Mark Luck Limited. Ken’s daughter Elizabeth Carter & Chris Archbutt’s son Guy Archbutt are the current Directors of Mark Luck Ltd.

We are proud to be Safe Contractor approved and our Managing Director Mark Luck is also Level 4 WAMITAB. We undertake many jobs for ground workers and major landscapers and have previously worked on many major construction jobs including the Olympic stadium and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link.
